London police warn of rental scam

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – London Police are warning people about a rental scam involving a home in the city.

The London Police Department says someone has listed the home on Craigslist as a rental but the home is actually for sale.

The email address listed on craigslist is life_blessed@aol.com.

Police say renters should check first to make sure the listing they are interested in is legitimate, never send money electronically and be leery of anyone who is not willing to meet you in person or allow you to look at the item in question.
