London mayor Randall Weddle due in court on alleged campaign contribution violations
LAUREL COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – London Mayor Randall Weddle was due in court today for alleged campaign contribution violations.
According to court records, Weddle was scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m.
As previously reported, a grand jury indicted Weddle last month.
According to Russell Coleman, Weddle is accused of unlawfully contributing more than $2,000 to the Andy Beshear for Governor campaign during an election. He is also accused of contributing more than $5,000 to the Kentucky Democratic Party.
