London man charged with sodomy

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested a London man on charges of sodomy Friday.

30-year-old Jonathon Poynter was arrested by deputies Friday at 10:30 a.m., officials say.

According to the sheriff’s office, Poynter sexually abused a female while applying a tattoo to the victim.

Poynter is charged with first-degree sodomy. He is being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center.
