London City Fire Department opening cooling station

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — With temperatures rising this week, the London City Fire Department is opening a cooling station to help residents of Laurel County beat the heat.

Firefighters announced that the cooling station will be available daily from noon until 8 p.m. at the Fire Department located on Fire Rescue Drive in London. In addition to a cool place to rest, cold water will be provided for those in need.
