Logan Co. man charged in slaying of sister-in-law

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A Logan County man has been charged in the slaying of his sister-in-law who lived on a farm with him and his brother.

The Bowling Green Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1QOllcg ) 20-year-old George Marshall Walker, of Adairville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. He is charged in the death of 23-year-old Allison Walker, who was reported missing from her residence Monday.

A police report says Walker admitted to law enforcement that he choked his sister-in-law and threw her body in a nearby river. Police say she lived on a farm with her husband and George Walker.

Allison Walker’s hands and feet had been bound and the body was wrapped in a tarp.

George Walker is in the Logan County Detention Center on a $1 million cash bond.
