Local Rapper Charged With Rape
Lexington Police arrested Lamar Brazzle of rape, last September.
A woman says Brazzle forced himself on her, against her will, as she tried to sleep.
According to the police report the woman didn’t know him but recognized his picture from a rap CD.
The victim told police that Brazzle told her he was a rapper, who had recorded in Florida and New York.
Police arrested Brazzle Saturday saying tests revealed his DNA from the victim.
