Local high school holds football jamboree fundraiser

HAMBURG, Ky. (WTVQ)- Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington hosted a football jamboree to raise money for the school’s athletic department.

Middle and high school football teams from across the region came out for the day-long scrimmage.

Paul Miller Ford partnered with the school to try and help raise around 8 thousand dollars for student athletics.

In addition to the fundraising, school officials say the day is also a great way to kick off football season.
