Local Company ‘Going Green’ With Lawn Care
The Klausing Group, a Lexington based lawn care company, says they’re rolling out a new lawn care program that’s almost completely organic.
President and Owner Roscoe Klausing says its one of the most comprehensive organic lawn care programs he’s ever seen, and hopes his company is on the forefront of a change in the industry, that will hopefully be moving away from more synthetic products.
Klausing says his program is not 100 percent organic because of cost effectiveness but says they’re projecting to eliminate 70 tons of synthetic fertilizer and herbicides per year.
