Local brewery makes big announcement

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A big announcement this weekend from local favorite West Sixth Brewing.

The brewery has announced it has bought a farm.

Founders say they hope to be able to grow ingredients for their beer on the farm.

It’s located just less than ten minutes from downtown Frankfort.

Founders also say the farm will be a place for community members to visit so they can learn how beer is made.
