Local author Don McNay, dead at 57

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Award-winning author and financial consultant Don McNay has passed away at the age of 57.

McNay wrote 6 best-selling books, and was a leading authority on how lottery winners should manage their winnings.

McNay won several awards for his newspaper column, including “Best Columnist” from the Kentucky Press Association.  He was named Outstanding Young Lexingtonian in 1985 by the Lexington Jaycees, was an honorary Kentucky Colonel.
