Lincoln Museum closed for first time on Abraham Lincoln’s birthday

It said in part, “LaRue County 911 is experiencing very high call volume due to accidents occurring because of ice on the roadways. Howardstown Road, Campbellsville Road, Stiles Road, Highway 470 and Mt. Sherman Road are extremely dangerous at this time. Be safe and please stay at home if you can.”
The Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial shared a post about Lincoln’s birthplace in Kentucky, saying he was born, “in a one-room log cabin in Kentucky, spent his formative years in Indiana, became a man and politician in Illinois, then finally the 16th President of the United States.”
