Lincoln Mural Finished in Downtown Lexington

The Great Emancipator was born in a Kentucky log cabin. And now, he’s honored on the side of the Kentucky Theatre.

A mural of President Abraham Lincoln, America’s 16th president, is complete on the back of the theatre in downtown Lexington. It’s by Brazilian artist Eduardo Korba.

The mural goes up just in time for an important anniversary. The 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg address is on November 19th.
