Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office looking for person of interest in possible attempted kidnapping

WAYNESBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible kidnapping attempt that occurred at a Dollar General store in Waynesburg, Kentucky. According to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, the incident happened between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Monday night.

Officials say they are looking to identify a person of interest in connection with the investigation. The sheriff’s office has released an image of the individual and is asking anyone who recognizes the person or has information to come forward.
