Lincoln County man found guilty of child abuse

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- According to the Commonwealth Journal, a Lincoln County man has been found guilty of abusing two children while on a school bus.

19-year-old Ryan Allen Rayburn was indicted by a grand jury in April for multiple charges of first-degree criminal and sexual abuse in connection to an incident that occurred on a Lincoln County school bus.

Officials say Rayburn abused two minors around March of this year as they were on their way home from school.

This week, the jury returned a guilty verdict.

Rayburn will serve a five-year prison sentence with a lifetime sexual offender status.
