Lincoln Co. home destroyed in morning fire

STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lincoln County woman will return home this Labor Day to find no home.

Lincoln County fire crews spent their morning putting out a fire on Chief Lane.

They say the call came in just before 7:00 a.m.

Fire officials say they’re still not sure what started the blaze, but the home is a total loss.

The woman who lived there was not home at the time of the fire.
