Lincoln Co. deputy honored for actions during gas explosion
LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lincoln County deputy is honored for his actions during the gas explosion over a month ago.
Deputy Colby Reik is credited with pulling an elderly couple from their home that caught fire during that explosion.
Reik suffered burns while rescuing the couple.
Thursday night he was awarded the medal of honor by the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association for saving their lives.
