Limited blasting required for construction on Lexington Center

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Construction of the Lexington Center expansion west of Rupp Arena requires limited amount of blasting.

Small blasts will occur over the next two months between 2 PM and 4 PM.

A loud whistle will sound 5 minutes before, and 5 minutes after, the blast.

Blasting will not occur every day.
