Lightning strikes house on Cashel Court

(LEXINGTON, Ky.) – Lexington Firefighters responded to a house fire on Cashel Court. Crews say it was caused by the weather. Neighbors reported hearing a loud cracking sound, which investigators say was lightning. ABC 36 was told that some of the electrical wiring throughout the home was burnt. Officials say the wall to the home will have to be torn out for repair, but the house is still livable. One man was in the home at the time and was not hurt.
