Lightning sparks fires in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Firefighters in Madison County say lightning started two fires Sunday.

The Waco Volunteer Fire Department posted on Facebook that Sunday was a busy day for firefighters. They say they responded to nine fire runs, two were structure fires that were caused by lightning.

There were no injuries reported in connection to the fires.
