Library summer kickoff parties for Lexington Public Library

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Fayette County, mark your calendars! Tuesday is day one of the Lexington Public Library’s Summer Kickoff Parties. The inaugural event will be held at the Northside Branch, running until 1 PM, featuring special guest appearances from popular book characters, a petting zoo, and free books.

The celebration continues on Wednesday at the Eastside Branch, with additional events scheduled at other branches throughout the week.

Additionally, the library’s free Summer Lunch and Snack Program kicks off on Tuesday, with lunch served starting around 11:30 AM or noon, depending on the location.
