Library summer activities start Tuesday in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Public Library’s summer celebrations for children kick off this week. Library officials have announced events such as petting zoos, book fairs, and surprise appearances by book characters.

The celebrations start on Tuesday at the Northside Branch Library, followed by events at the Eastside, Marksbury, Beaumont, Central, and Tates Creek branches. Additionally, the library’s free summer lunch program for students also begins on Tuesday.
