Liberty Man Airlifted from Crash Scene in Casey County

CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Liberty man was airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington from the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Casey County on Thursday, according to State Police.

Investigators say 62-year old Pamela Howard, of Greensburg, turned into the path of a van driven by 36-year old Jonathan Brown, of Liberty, at the intersection of KY 206 and KY 70.

State Police say Brown’s van was struck on the driver’s side by Howard’s SUV.

Investigators say Brown was wearing a seat belt. State Police say his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

State Police say Howard was also wearing a seat belt. She was not injured, according to investigators.

The collision happened just after 4:00 p.m., according to State Police.
