LFD sponsors run to honor first responders killed on 9/11

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department is sponsoring a 4.03 mile run to honor the 403 public safety workers who were killed during the 9/11 attacks.

The proceeds will benefit Kentucky Children’s Hospital and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The ‘Run to Remember’ is Friday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Coldstream Research Farm at 1500 Bull Lea Road in Lexington.
