LFD: Woman burned in apartment fire; 3 families displaced

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Firefighters say three families won’t be able to return home tonight after a fire at a Lexington apartment complex.

Investigators say it happened around 6:00 at the Gleneagles Apartments on Polo Club Boulevard. Firefighters say a woman suffered burns in the fire, which was mostly put out by sprinklers.

According to the fire department, six apartments had water damage. It says the Red Cross is helping the displaced families.
