LFD: Arson investigators looking for car after house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Arson investigators are looking for a vehicle that was seen fleeing the area after a fire broke out at a home early Saturday morning.

Fire officials say the fire broke out at home listed for rent, on the 800 block of Mason Headley Road, just after midnight.

The department says the home was vacant, but the fire appears to have started need the kitchen and dining room area.

Fire officials tell ABC 36 News that the exact cause is still under investigation.

Lexington Fire Department arson investigators are looking for a white four-door sedan with a distinctive red primer colored rear quarter panel on the passenger side.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call the fire department. The number is 859-231-5672.
