Lexington’s Class A baseball team needs musicians
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — O say! Can you sing?
The Lexington Legends are looking for a lineup of musicians and singers to perform the national anthem during the 2015 season.
The Kansas City Royals Class A affiliate will hold tryouts from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at Fayette Mall in Lexington.
The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/1CxyBqp ) says participants will sing or play the anthem, and those selected by judges will perform before the start of one of the team’s 70 home games.
The stage for tryouts will be in the wing of the mall near Dick’s Sporting Goods. To reserve a time for tryout or more information, call (859) 422-7855.
Participants must complete a registration form, available at http://www.lexingtonlegends.com . Walk-ups are welcome based on availability.
