Lexington’s Carnegie Ctr. Hosting Zimmerman Town Hall Meeting
Lexington’s Carnegie Literacy and Learning Center will host a town hall meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 to discuss the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case.
Organizers say they are hoping for an informative and calm discussion about the case.
They say the meeting will allow people to share their opinions on the case while also informing on Kentucky’s laws and policies.
Local poet Bianca Spriggs will host the meeting.
The Carnegie Literacy and Learning Center is located at 251 W. 2nd. Street in Lexington.
