Children’s hospital employee accused of raping a child
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An employee at Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington is accused of having sex with a minor.
Court documents say 45-year-old Heather Jean Seltsam admitted to having sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 16, touching the reported victim in a sexual manner and exchanging sexually explicit pictures with them.
Seltsam is charged with 3rd degree rape, 2nd degree sexual assault and use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor.
Kentucky Children’s Hospital officials say Seltsam has been put on administrative leave.
Seltsam’s bond was set at $10,000. A judge ordered for her to have no contact with the reported victim.
She is due back in court July 14, 2017.
