LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The case against a Lexington woman accused of concealing the birth of an infant has been sent to a grand jury, according to Fayette County District Court records.
Luz-Jessica Gonzalez-Estrella, 29, was arrested last week after she arrived at a hospital with postpartum complications, according to Lexington Police. Investigators later found a deceased infant inside a home on Darley Drive.
Gonzalez-Estrella is facing charges of concealing the birth of an infant, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence. The grand jury will now determine whether to indict her on these charges.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A woman arrested after a baby was found dead inside a Lexington home is set to appear in court Wednesday morning for a preliminary hearing.
Court records show Luz Jessica Gonzalez-Estrella, 29, is scheduled to appear at 8:30 a.m.
According to police, Gonzalez-Estrella was arrested last week after arriving at a hospital with postpartum complications. Investigators say they later discovered a baby deceased inside a home on Darley Drive.
