Lexington to kickoff Burger Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – When it is summertime, it means it is burger time. Lexington Burger Week kicks off on Monday, July 5.

This year, 30 restaurants in and around Lexington are participating with 27 unique burgers on the lineup.

Almost all will offer dine-in service this year, while some will still do takeout.

The celebration of burgers welcomes some newcomers this year, including the Belt Line on North Limestone and La Petite Delicat, which is offering unique tiny macaron “burgers” with sweet and savory flavors. Stellas’s Kentucky Deli and Goodwood will be serving vegetarian burgers as well.

Each burger costs $6.

A digital burger week passport and app can be downloaded to track the burgers eaten throughout the week. Collect three or more digital stamps and participants could win prizes. Collect ten or more and you could win free burgers for a year.

Burger Week runs from July 5 through July 11.
