Lexington to break ground on 22-unit affordable housing development Sept. 13
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for a new 22-unit affordable housing development in Lexington.
The event will be held Friday, Sept. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at 530 North Martin Luther King Boulevard. It will feature guest speakers from Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, including Mayor Linda Gorton, along with community leaders and a ceremonial groundbreaking.
The development aims to address Lexington’s housing needs by providing 22 high-quality, affordable living spaces for local residents while also revitalizing a historic community landmark.
