Lexington Sporting Club begins USL Championship against Hartford Athletic
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 SPORTS) — Lexington Sporting Club officially begins its run in the USL Championship.
The greens were able to get things rolling in the 9th minute with a goal from Joe Hafferty.
At halftime, LSC would lead 1-0.
In the second half, the home team kept putting pressure on the visitors with a couple close calls, but it would be Eliot Goldthorp of LSC who would find the back of the net and seal the deal for the home team, with a win of 2-0.
LSC will be back at home on March 22, when they face off against Indy Eleven.
