Lexington School Board to buy Lexmark land
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Fayette County Board of Education has voted to purchase land on the Lexmark campus in Lexington.
District officials announced that the board decided on Monday to acquire more than 22 acres of land on Lexmark’s Newtown Pike campus for over six million dollars.
The district stated that the land could be used for a new school building or a daycare facility for teachers and other school employees. This purchase aims to expand and enhance educational facilities within the district, providing additional resources and support for the community.
