Lexington Rescue Mission encourages donations for Thanksgiving meals

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Thanksgiving may still be about a month and a half away, but the Lexington Rescue Mission says it’s never too early to give. The organization is asking for monetary donations to help provide hot Thanksgiving meals for those in need.

Officials say just $2.59 can feed someone who has nowhere else to go and help open the door to hope and lasting change. The Rescue Mission emphasizes that hunger and homelessness don’t take a holiday—and every dollar donated makes a difference.
