Lexington Recycling Center’s main entrance reopens, commercial entrance closed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The main residential vehicle entrance gate to the Lexington Recycling Center is now open; the main entrance was closed May 11^th through May 15^th due to pipeline construction.

The first entrance normally utilized by commercial traffic will be closed from May 22^nd at 12 p.m. through May 26^th at 12 p.m. Trucks and commercial traffic will need to utilize the main entrance during this time period.

Residents visiting the facility for public drop off of recyclable materials are asked to use caution during this time period as commercial trucks will be entering and exiting the facility through the main entrance normally used by passenger vehicles. Please follow the posted signs; The Division of Waste Management thanks you for your continued cooperation.
