Lexington Ranked Among Best ‘Staycation’ Cities In America

Wallethub said vacationers were expected to spend an average of about $1,250 per person this summer.

The survey from the financial website Wallethub.com looked at the top places for families to save money by having a vacation at home.

Lexington placed 12th out of a field of 100.

The city’s ranking included high numbers for food and entertainment, relaxation and ideal weather.
