Lexington police update El Cid shooting investigation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department says it is continuing to investigate last Friday’s deadly shooting at El Cid on National Avenue, where 31-year-old Antoine Clay was killed, and five others were injured.

In a morning release, police said it appeared the restaurant was busy at the time of the shooting, and are urging anyone with information, particularly those who may have taken photos or videos at the time, to come forward. Detectives are actively working with local businesses and residents to gather more leads and are collaborating with various law enforcement agencies to support the investigation.
