Lexington police searching for wanted burglary suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Bluegrass Crime Stoppers has named Shelby Newsome as this week’s Wanted Person of the Week.

According to the Lexington Police Department, Newsome is currently wanted on a warrant for burglary in the first degree.

Police say Newsome is described as a 19-year-old woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands about 5’6″ tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. Her date of birth is listed as September 28, 2004.
