Lexington Police search for suspected bank robber

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- You can imagine the shock some employees felt Saturday afternoon when a man, with his face covered robbed a Lexington bank.

Police say it happened at the Chase Bank on Leestown Road. They say the man, described at 5’9″, thin-build and wearing a black “hoodie” over his face implied he was robbing the bank. Officers aren’t certain if the man had a weapon.

They say no one else was inside the bank at the time and the man might’ve gotten away in a car. They’re still investigating.
