Lexington Police renew call for information in 2021 Hedgewood Court homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is highlighting a cold case from 2021, asking the public once again to come forward with any information that could help solve the killing of 28-year-old Shon Demale Davis.

According to Lexington Police, officers were called to the 200 block of Hedgewood Court just before midnight on June 8, 2021, for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Davis in the driver’s seat of a passenger vehicle. He had been shot and officials say he died at the scene.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified Davis shortly after the incident. More than four years later, police say the investigation remains open, and they are continuing to seek leads.

Authorities are urging anyone who knows anything about what happened that night to come forward.
