Lexington Police Officer’s Widow Petitions Against Killer’s Parole

A Lexington Police Officer’s widow wants to stop his killer from getting out of prison.

A jury convicted Glenn Doneghy of manslaughter and assault after he ran over Officer Bryan Durman in 2010.

Doneghy received a 20-year sentence.

But he will be eligible for parole in April.

A hearing is set for February 24th.

Meanwhile, Fayette County Commonwealth’s Attorney Ray Larson said on facebook that Durman’s wife Brandy is gathering names on a petition.

It would show public support for keeping Doneghy in prison.
