Lexington police looking for murder suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are searching for a murder suspect.

Police say they have an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Malik Nelson.

He’s wanted for murder in the death of 21-year-old Christian Cubert.

Cubert was killed early last month on Devonport Drive near Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Around 6:10 a.m., officers found Cubert suffering from a gunshot wound outside an apartment complex.

They took him to UK ER where he died several minutes later.
