Lexington police look for suspects in assault on security guard

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators with the Lexington Police Department are trying to identify two men who they say assaulted a security guard at a local nightclub.

Detectives say officers were called to the Swahili Elks Lodge on Versailles Road on May 27 for a report of a disorder.

An employee told officers he was attacked and punched shortly after a group of men arrived at the club.

On Monday, police released images from the surveillance footage, hoping it will generate leads in the case.
