Lexington Police investigating vandalism at Congressman Andy Barr’s campaign headquarters

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a reported act of vandalism at the campaign headquarters of Andy Barr.

According to a release from the Lexington Police Department, officers responded around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, to Congressman Barr’s campaign headquarters after receiving a report of vandalism.

Police say when officers arrived, the male suspect was no longer at the scene. No staff members reported any injuries.

The department says it will be working with the Capital Police Department as the investigation continues. Suspect identification and possible charges are pending.
