Lexington Police investigating shooting near UK campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Police are investigating a shooting that happened near UK campus Thursday morning.

According to police, a call came in around six in the morning about a burglary at an apartment in the 300-block of Rose Street.

Police say officers arrived to find one man shot.

He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to police.

There were seven people in the apartment at the time of the shooting and police say they are currently interviewing them.
