Lexington Police investigating pedestrian hit by car Friday night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are investigating a crash Friday night where a pedestrian was hit.

Lexington Police say around 9 P.M. at the inner loop of New Circle Road near Golden Way, officers responded to a person hit by a car.

The crash reconstruction team was called to the scene.

Police say the person hit does have life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The driver involved remained on the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
