Lexington police investigating overnight stabbing on Montavesta Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington police are investigating an overnight stabbing on Montavesta Road.

The stabbing happened around 3 a.m. in the 3000 block of Montavesta Road.

Police say they responded to the scene where they found a man who had been stabbed.

Money had been taken from the victim as well.

The suspect had fled by the time police arrived.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
