Lexington police investigating crash that injured pedestrian

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was injured in a crash late Wednesday night.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene around 10:40 p.m.

The injured pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities closed the roadway while crews investigated the crash, and the intersection reopened around 1 a.m.

The department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
