Lexington police investigating armed robbery at Dollar General

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington are investigating a robbery at the Dollar General Store on Southland Drive.

According to officers, a man in his 20’s came into the store with a gun and ordered a clerk to open the cash register.

The man got away with money from the store safe.

No word on how much money was taken.
