Lexington police investigate shooting in Wing Zone parking lot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say someone was shot in the parking lot of a restaurant. It happened tonight around 6:00.

Police say an argument between a man and a woman spread to two groups of people outside of Wing Zone on Eureka Drive. Officers say someone ended up shooting someone else.

Police believe the shot came from a light blue four-door sedan with two men inside. Officers are now looking for the car.

According to investigators, the victim went to the hospital but is expected to recover.
